She may have done binding as a creative outlet as her books exhibited enthusiasm rather than skill. OCLC: 46648822.

[New York: Lipper / Viking, 2000. First American Edition. Octavo. Cloth and pictorial boards. [12],195,[1]pp. Ten black and white photographs. Short bibliography. About fine, in a lovely dust jacket with a vignette cut to expose the portrait of Woolf on the upper boards. First American edition, issued in the "Penquin Lives" series. "Virginia Woolf's life as part of the avant-garde Bloomsbury Group has captured the imagination of millions. Now Nigel Nicolson, the distinguished son of British writers Harold Nicolson and Vita Sackville-West -- one of Woolf's closest friends and sometime lover -- threads his personal reminiscences through the narrative of her life. Nicolson recalls childhood times with Woolf: from her walks around his ancestral home as she planned Orlando to her writing of the modern classics Mrs. Dalloway and A Room of One's Own.
