Page edges not foxed. Light edgewear to cloth boards, lightly worn through at corners and lightly fraying at top and bottom of spine. A nice copy overall. Index, 497 pp + 6 pp ads.

Jacket has numerous small, closed tears at edges, light soil and rubbing, age-toning, general edgewear. 2359 pp with index, with the text of four normal pages printed on each page of this edition. Large hardcover, 13.5 inches tall.

Both show exterior wear from use, with more to volume 1, including some bending of the boards and moisture effects to pages. Pages are supple however, and separate and turn perfectly. Clean text but for a few scattered light pencil marks. Flyleaf corner torn. Former owner inscription. Light edge wear and soil remnants to boards, but very good overall for its age.
