With 16 numbered sheets of text, and 10 unnnumbered sheets of illustrations, all printed recto only. Brochure with numerous photographic illustrations and reproductions of notes and drawings illustrating the program and project of Nitsch’s three-day performance ""Orgien Mysterien Theater 3-tage Fest"" which was to take place between the end of June and mid-July 1969. The brochure also indicates the subscription fee, to be sent to the Galerie Casa of Munich. In reality this project was only realised many years later, with the Nitsch’s 80th Action held from 27 to 30 July 1984 in the artist’s castle of Prinzendorf.

From the edition limited to 500 copies. The exhibition catalogue for the group exhibition 'O Sole Mio &c.' which was held at the Hamburger Künstlerhaus in late 1980. The exhibition featured 19 Italian and German artists and the catalogue includes representative work as well as a biography and notes for each and texts by Bazon Brock, Pier Luigi Tazzi and Georg Jappe. Essen.: Self-published., 1963. Original red card wrappers, with printed title label pasted to front cover. Hole-punched along right edge as issued and bound in the Japanese style with two red rubber bands.. (29.8 x 21 cm).. Initial text leaf + 16 black-and-white plates + final leaf reproducing poem by C.C. Caspari entitled ‘liest seil’. All leaves printed rectos only. The rare first edition of André Thomkins’ first artist’s book. Published in an edition of 100 copies, signed in pencil by Thomkins underneath the printed colophon on the inside front cover. Early in his career, Thomkins looked at and listened to words to see if their letters would yield a puzzle or an anagram, if one word occurs in several languages, or if a sentence might be read backwords as a palindrome. Neuchâtel.: Editions Média., 1996. Original grey cloth-backed boards.. (50.6 x 33.3 cm).. pp. (38). With 8 original hors-texte colour linocuts by Mosset. Some degree of offsetting to facing pages throughout. Artist’s book with the eight original linocuts accompanied by poetry by Jean-Christophe Bailly. Published in an edition of 50 copies, numbered, dated and signed in pencil by Mosset on the final blank leaf, and further inscribed by Bailly “pour savoir-vivre!”. Olivier Mosset’s work is rooted in conceptual abstraction. In the 1960s he was a member of the BMPT collective along with Daniel Buren, Michel Parmentier, and Niele Toroni. The group suppressed subjectivity and expressiveness favouring instead practical systems like the utilisation of neutral, repetitive patterns. Pinnacle to the group’s philosophy were the 200 or more identical oil paintings that Mosset produced between 1966 and 1974, of a small black circle at the centre of a square white canvas. Published in an edition of 1,000 copies, with this one of 25 deluxe hardback copies, numbered and signed with the artist’s initials on the initial blank page. The work 'A Century', which exists as nearly 900 mainly typewritten A4 pages, was created in 1971 by Darboven. The main section is a purely mathematical visualisation of a century starting from the year 00 through 99. The whole century is divided into twelve months, each of them corresponding to the twelve months in 1971 when Darboven actually worked on the project. The months, or chapters, are separated by vignettes, numbered from I - XII, silhouettes of the kind that was popular in the 19th century, with motifs from fairy tales or folk songs. New York.: Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.)., 1971. Single printed bank note.. (6.7 x 15.5 cm).. Artcash was a project for a gambling night in 1971, one night only, held at New York’s Automation House to benefit E.A.T. 's Arts and Technology project. Six artists designed the dollar bills which were to be used on the gambling tables. Warhol designed this dollar, the verso of which is all black, the front of which says ONES and imprints the Warhol rubberstamp stating ‘This photograph May Not be Etc’. Edition size unknown. The bills were printed at the American Banknote Company, which printed currency for the United States, on the same paper but without the threads.

Artist’s book charting 25 possible combinations of LeWitt’s work, Five Open Geometric Structures (1979), which are constructed from sections of wood in three-dimensional extrapolations of the two-dimensional figures of a square, a triangle, a rectangle, a trapezoid and a parallelogram. Berlin., 1973. (24 x 31.5 cm).. A 95-page loose sheet photostat of Otmar Bauer's proposed autobiography which was to be entitiled ""Für den Augenblick, den ersten Teil"" (For the moment, the First part). Otmar Bauer (1945-2004) was a major figure in Viennese Aktionism, a colleague and compatriot of Otto Muehl, and an establishing member of the idyllic 'AAO' or Actions-Analytical Organisation. Until this day his autobiography remains unpublished. This copy of the typescript is presented loose in a green card file folder. On the cover of the folder is a frenzied original drawing by Dieter Roth, executed using different coloured pens (31.5 x 24 cm). The drawing extends over a single side of the folder, across the opening flap. The heavy repetitive nature of much of Roth's penwork leads on occasion to fantastically expressive scratches on the surface of the card. Berlin.: (Alfred Raschke)., 1999. Slight bumping and creasing to corners only affecting the blank margins; short 1cm tear to centre of lower edge.. (31.3 x 22 cm).. Photograph with the photographer’s stamp on verso, his signature in pencil and date/location details, “Berlin, Haus a. Lützowplatz, 5/99”. Marina Abramovic was in Berlin at the Haus am Lützowplatz in readiness for the opening of her exhibition there entitled ‘Marina Abramovi_, unfinished business’. The show opened on the 16th May 1999. The Berlin-born photographer Alfred Raschke was known for his collaborative efforts with other artists - he was stills photographer for international auteur films, amongst others ""Buster's Bedroom"" directed by Rebecca Horn. He was also to have a solo exhibition at the Haus am Lützowplatz later in 1999. It was most likely under the auspices of Karin Pott, artistic director of the Haus am Lützowplatz, that Raschke ending up taking this three-quarter length portrait of Abramovic on the eve of… Leer más

(Hamburg).: N.p., (1975).. Four handwritten sheets, each folded twice inside airmail envelope.. (11.3 x 16 cm) envelope.. Klaus Rinke is a pioneer of performance and action art, with his works exploring the relationship between the body in space and time, though the use of sequential photographic works. Having already garnered plaudits through his participation in exhibitions at MoMA, New York (in 1970 and 1973), the Documenta 5 in Kassel (1972), and at the XII. São Paulo Biennial (1973), Rinke was then to participate at the groundbreaking Bodyworks show at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in 1975. Presented here is a series of handwritten documents mailed by Rinke to the Bodyworks exhibition curator, Ira Licht, prior to the exhibition. Includes a short signed letter from Rinke, dated 19 Feb 1975: “Dear Ira Licht, Today I shipped the photographs via Hasenkamp and I hope they will arrive soon in Chicago. (London).: Paradise Posters, Inc., 1971. Poster has been rolled with resultant creasing. Numerous tears to edges.. (71.5 x 55 cm).. Fantastical poster design, incorporating the nude figures of Lennon and Yoko Ono from their 1968 Two Virgins album. Poster design by Ann Meisel (misspelt ‘Ann Neisel’ on printed copyright), an illustrator whose work also adorned the feminist London-based glossy magazine Nova (1965-75).

(1963).. (15.6 x 13.5 cm). A unique work by George Brecht. Consists of a piece of card, partially wrapped in coloured tissue paper which is fixed to the card with four sections of brown masking tape along each side. Brecht has written in pen along each section of tape: “the breathing hills 27 IX / Diter Rot just visited / said you wanted some pieces / for Kalender, Regards George”. In the centre of the card is mounted a small collage, an image of a cat with a ball of wool.

1964. Sheet size (23 x 21.5 cm).. Manuscript letter, written in black ink on both sides of a single sheet. The letter, dated January 1964 finds Dieter Roth in typical ebullient form, starting with the initial greeting, “Lieber Caspar David Friedrich”, and continuing with a caustic rebuttal of Dietrich earlier supposedly fawning mailing: “Vielen guten schönen Dank für die vielen Arsche und das ganze Lecken!” (Many thanks for the many arses and all the licking!). The letter goes on to discuss the proposal of publishing a book, and Roth offering to send Dietrich a photo of his “Manuskripts (mit den Löchen)” or manuscripts with the holes, together with a copy of his poster for the Amsterdam Stedelijk exhibition ’Bewogen Beweging’ (1961). Letter is folded twice in order for it to fit into the original airmail envelope which is also present.
