Dark green cloth boards with burgundy rectangle top of spine with gilt printing. Pale maroon tint to the top edge. The binding is tight and the text block is clear, clear and unmarked with many black & white photos. Very light shelf wear on the bottom edges of the spine. No dust cover.

This book is illustrated throughout with 173 color plates and 488 black and white illustrations.
