Large formatted cocktail recipe guide book published immediately after the demise of prohibition. WorldCat locates six library holdings. The anonymous author's collaborator Patrick W. Guinee is described on title page as being "formerly of the Old Iroquois Bar, Plainfield, New Jersey, and one of the best Mixers in the days when drinks were Drinks." Very Good attractive volume

Chicago: Forbes and Company, 1912. First Edition. Small octavo, original illustrated boards and dustjacket. This copy with ownership signature of Harry Neily at front endpaper. Neily was the lead sportswriter for the Chicago American who cast his vote for Babe Ruth to win the American League MVP in 1923. Humorous collection of baseball verse. Near Fine in attractive Very Good plus dustjacket, few short closed tears.

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1922. First Edition, first issue without the publisher's seal on the copyright page and no ads. Octavo, original blue-green cloth, gilt lettering at spine. Fitzgerald's second novel. Very Good, light shelf wear

No date, but circa 1970's. Original blue stiff wrappers, spiral bound, 44 pages, 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches. Collection of food recipes and cocktails (about half the contents). Unusual. Very Good.
