Boston: George H. Ellis, 1883. Early or first American edition. The author was an Irish writer, social reformer, anti-vivisectionist, and leading women's suffrage campaigner. Octavo, original publisher's blind stamped green cloth, decorated and lettered in gilt. Floral endpapers. Very Good to near fine with a small short split at top of spine cloth. Very scarce title.

London: Cassell and Company Ltd, (1931). First Edition. T. H. White's extremely scarce first book. 'How Adrian Nycher murdered his landlady and under the name of Nixon became a vagabond'. Very Good or better attractive copy (but for two large lending library stamps at front pastedown), in Good dustjacket, less than an inch chip at top spine end, soiling to spine, vertical creases at front panel, some shallow loss at lower spine end and lower front panel.

New York: MacMillan Co., 1902. First Edition. Small quarto, original salmon cloth, gilt lettering and decorative dustjacket. Illustrated with photographs. An early account of the diamond industry in scarce dustjacket. This copy signed by author at front endpaper. Very Good but for several pages with stamp at margin for a monastery in Ireland, 'Leabhariann Lair'. A much nicer copy than usually encountered, cloth greening some, but firmly bound and gilt bright, in Good dustjacket, expected soiling, chipping at top spine area, quarter sized chip at lower rear panel.

London: William Hall, 1611. Reprint Edition from 1611. Quarto, 10 3/4 x 7 inches. Beautifully rebound in brown leather over boards, blindstamped borders at fore-edges, five raised bands at spine lighter brown title plate at spine, gilt lettering and decorations at spine, black and white and color crests. Fine externally, Very Good to Near Fine internally, pages agetoned with foxing in some places, markings and edits made in pen at early pages, offsetting on some pages from colored art, minor wear to page edges, some papers with small holes.

First Edition, first printing (and first issue dustjacket). Octavo, black cloth with white lettering. The third Queen mystery and the most desirable title. Very Good or Near Fine, bit of shelf wear and signs of use, in Good dustjacket, chipped at top spine end, split along front spine edge (now mended with archival tape) and lacking lower 2 1/2 inches of spine material.
