Less than 25,000 were produced. Both car and this manual are rare. 8vo size stapled pamphlet has brown cardstock covers with white titles; 52 glossy pages with black and white illustrations throughout; pull out two page wiring diagram on last page. Staples are rusted or discolored which has caused some discoloration to pages around staples and there are some impression marks on front cover; light crease to top corner, edgewear. Articles on Road, Track, Hill with pictures of Ray Harroun, Winner of the Indianapolis 500, also his race at Indianapolis Fair where he finished one minute behind after taking only 47 seconds to change his tire after the third mile. Articles on self-starters in 1912 cars; how owning a car saved people went there was a streetcar strike, "Milady at the wheel" (showing stylish women attired for riding in cars), Harvey Johnson employee of the E-R-I-T Company demonstrated how he could hurdle his car at high speed over railroad tracks, many photographs, ads. Very scarce in very good condition bound in original wraps.
