A collection of 350 barbeque recipes from various parts of the country. Each comes with a paragraph giving the background of the recipe and most give a location where Thompson came across it. (And no, this is not the actor, former Tennessee Senator and brief presidential candidate. This Fred Thompson is a much younger guy from North Carolina, who writes and teaches about cooking. Book shows little wear, although there is a very small grease stain on the edge of the last two pages (how appropriate for a barbeque book), and one spine crease There are a number of color photos of the finished products in the center of the book.
