Each volume with an extra, decorative title page. A fine and clean set with a few of the gatherings still unopened. Finely bound, by Riviere, in early twentieth century quarter vellum with single raised bands. Green title labels, ruled and lettered in gilt. Arts and Crafts style tall flower design with stems, leaves and flower in gilt to each spine. Blue cloth on boards. Top edges gilt, others untrimmed. Some minor marks to the cloth on a few of the boards but the spines all clean and the gilt bright so the set looks great on the shelf. A very attractive set of vellum bindings.

Drake in The Jungle Book, just Kipling in the second Jungle book. Fine, clean copies. Fine leather bindings, by Bumpus, of mid twentieth century half dark red morocco. Spines with five raised bands, compartments ruled in blind and lettered in gilt. Red cloth on boards. Top edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Just a hint of darkening to the spines of both bindings but overall this is a near fine, lovely set of these classic books.

Finely bound in a contemporary full dark green morocco binding by Ramage of London. Spine with five raised bands, ruled in gilt. The compartments with gilt ruled lines, flower and star designs and lettering. Decorative flower and leaf designs to both boards, within a wavy line border which is surrounded by multiple stars, within a ruled line border, all in gilt. Elaborate gilt tooled stars, flowers and decorative roll borders to the inner boards with off-white moire silk endpapers. All edges gilt. Previous owners neat inscription, dated 1914, to the front blank free endpaper. Spine faded to an attractive tan colour and the front board to a lighter green but still a beautiful fine binding from the library of W. A. Fully illustrated with frontis, decorative title page and 218 pages with decorative engraved borders and many with engraved vignettes inside the border, all by Daniel Maclise. A few small marks to a handful of pages but generally a very bright and clean copy throughout. Finely bound in nineteenth century full red morocco. Spine with double raised bands, each with a wide gilt line between them. Compartments ruled, lettered, and fully decorated in gilt. Both boards with double gilt ruled borders and decorative design within. Board edges bevelled. Marbled endpapers. Elaborate gauffered pages edges, gilt. Decorative gilt turn-ins. Armorial bookplate to the front paste down endpaper. Some rubbing and marking to the binding but overall a lovely copy of this beautiful book.

Spine with gilt ruled lines, floral design and lettering. Front board with ruled panels and floral designs, all in gilt Single gilt ruled border to the rear board and board edges. Gilt inner dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Armorial bookplate of noted author of books on folklore and topography, Sir George Laurence Gomme (1853 - 1916) on the front pastedown. Some offsetting to the endpapers from the leather turn-ins. A little rubbing to the extremities and the spine faded to an attractive brown but overall still a lovely copy of this scarce work in a fine quality binding. The binding is unsigned but is certainly the work of a master bookbinder.
