Limited first new edition (of France's work originally published previously) by Editions Rene Kieffer, Reilieur D'Art. Number 358 of the limited edition of 450 copies. Pages are in thick, deckled edge vellum ("velin a la cuve"), Printed September, 1924, by the P Harambat Press, Paris. Text is entirely in French. With 17stunning color etchings (they may be woodcuts) by Sylvian Sauvage. Has cardboard cover which has been covered with transparent glassine paper, in turn covered with blue cloth covered boards (frayed). Thus it is both a paperback and hardback. It also has a blue board slipcase which is slightly torn.
This is beautiful book in excellent condition with thick, high quality paper, clear print, without any marks, tears or other blemishes.
