Assumed original owner penciled in her mane and date (March, 1942) on the fist flyleaf. Otherwise there are no faults with the pages. Un-clipped original dust jacket has a one inch tear along top of rear spine area, darkening along right side of back of dj. (about 1.5" wide) and shelf wear around all edges. Shows original price of $2.00. Very small store label and price sticker from Woodward and Lothrop (now closed department store) affixed to top left corner of inside rear dj flap.
