The book is in Fine, unread condition with an equally Fine dust jacket. I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. This autobiography by the author of Bittersweet explores the life of a child, then a woman, torn between traditional, rigid Chinese customs from one parent and progressive ideas from another. Included, too, are traditional Chinese recipes from a beloved grandparent. The book is bound in red boards with die-stamped gilt spine titles.
