Finland, 1963. 1st Edition . No Binding. Good. An attractive Finnish A2, cinema-used poster for the German noir thriller The White Spider. The film was first screened in Finland in 1963 without any further release . This poster is not a re-issue or a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related This particular poster measures 23.5" x 15.5" It is in good to VG condition with pinholes to corners. Some liquid staining to top right, mostly noticeable from the verso. A few scrapes here and there on the surface and minor edge rubs. Excellent graphics though no artist signature

Harald Reinl tackles the enigmatic Dr. Mabuse from Fritz Lang's trilogy of Dr. Mabuse titles: "Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler" (1922), "The Testament of Dr. Mabuse" (1933) and "The 1000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse" (1960). Criminal mastermind Dr. Mabuse (Wolfgang Priess) brainwashes prison inmates to commit crimes as he is pursued by Inspector Lohmann (Gert Frobe) and the German police. Gert Frobe would gain worldwide fame 2 years later in the role of Auric Goldfinger in the 1964 James Bond classic "Goldfinger." Set in and shot on location in Berlin. 8 x 10 inches. Near Fine.

Sequel to Reinl's previous alien documentary, "Chariots of the Gods" (1970), a film that was edited and dubbed in English and narrated by Rod Serling. This time Shatner narrates. The film was edited and dubbed in English, directed and written then by Charles Romine. NASA representatives make their opinions known, and various other "enthusiasts" perk Shatner's genuine intrigue. 47 x 63 inches, folded as issued. Very Good, with several tears (some with cello tape repairs on the verso) and creases. Scarce.
