Title continued: "Necnon Instructione Sacrae Poenitentiariae, Propositionibus damnatis, Examine Ordinandorum, & Arte Praedicandi: Opus non tantum confessariis, ac poenitentibus, verùm etiam praedicatoribus, ordinandis, missionariis, cunctisque ecclesiasticis, summoperè utile, ac necessarium." [8], 708 p.; 24 cm. 18th-century full calf with six spine compartments between raised bands. Paper label at head of spine with handwritten title. All page edges red. Title page in red and black. Woodcut title vignette (printer's emblem?); woodcut headpiece, tailpiece, and initial. Includes indices. Text in double columns. At head of title: R.P.F. Felicis Potestatis Panormitani Ordinis Minorum S. Francisci de Observantia. Inscriptions on front endpapers, one dated 1775. Faint circular stamp on title page; stamped on title page verso: "Bibliotheca Mt. St. Alphonsus, Esopus, N.Y." Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: leather is rubbed; loss at tail of spine; old insect damage along lower back hinge; pages are clean and tight.
