Montreal: The Family Herald and Weekly Star, (No date, but circa 1920s). Publisher’s pictorial brown card covers, pp. 215, [1]; black and white plates. Holograph recipe for "Dough nuts" in ink on verso of title page, with some bleed through. Previous owner has also made a hole in the upper left corner through the text block, and fed a string through to the rear cover; the book was presumably hung on a hook in their kitchen with this string, Charming indicators of previous use! Condition is fair to good only: spine chipped and joints splitting; staining and wear to covers, small tear in margin of final leaf. Fair to Good condition, and quite usable..

We operate an open bookshop in Tamworth, Ontario. The shop is open daily in July and August from 11 am - 4 pm. We also maintain a general Antiquarian stock available online or by appointment only. Most of our online stock is not in the bookshop.
