Promotional recipe booklet for use of Procter and Gamble's 'Crisco' cooking fat. Publisher's stapled wrappers with Mrs. Siple photo on front panel, 12mo (7 x 4 1/2 inches), pp. 13 plus "Book of Recipes" ad with perforated Procter and Gamble Cook Book order coupon; plus two blank leaves for Notes; plus "Important Points" Crisco usage list inside rear wrap. No date of publication given but circa 1920s. A weary ensample of this uncommon leaflet (no copies located in a March 2021 OCLC search), with old soiling and tide-lines; edge nicks and tears; and an abraded area at bottom page tips with a little loss of margin but not text. The wrappers are separating at each end of the spine, as well. A fragile affair in Poor condition but protected from further wear now in a clear new display sleeve with white card stock backing board.
