This is the very special, deluxe edition of the King James Version of the Bible in English, in a very special binding containing 12 ounces of sterling silver, with a cross on top and bottom, on the top are the sculpted images of the Four Evangelists: Mark, Matthew, Luke and John. The design was done by Barcelona silversmith, Oriol Sunyer. The illustrations are reproduced - for the first time in a printed book - from the priceless original manuscript in the British Library, which was executed in the mid-14th century. "As the most extensively illustrated of all surviving medieval psalters, the Queen Mary Psalter is a unique treasure. ...
