New York: Horace Liveright, 1929. First edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. 6 x 9 in. Brown cloth boards. First edition, 1929. E. B. White's personal copy with his name in pencil on the ffep. Condition is NEAR FINE ; corners and spine ends have minimal wear, covers are very fresh, front has one tiny spot. Spine very clean and spine titles bright. Binding tight and text extremely clean. A few antiqaurian bookseller's notes in pencil on the pastedowns. Andre Strong Bookseller is located in Blue Hill, Maine, where E. B. White had a house for a good part of the 20th c. Very nice association copy. Fic/Rare. RGR.
