Very Good, light rubbing at corners, light soiling to boards, scattered toning. spots at end papers, corner chip to Vol. red label Vol. IV. With the bookplates of Sir Richard Henry Charles Rycroft, 3rd Baronet. Each volume with a gift inscription dated March 7th, 1852, "Henry Richard Roycoft from his affec. Father and Mother on his 11th birthday. Richard H.C. Roycroft, Charlotte A. Roycroft". Sadly, Henry Richard Roycroft died two years later, in 1854. A SCARCE history in fine contemporary binding.
