Also, exceeding necessary and profitable for all such as travell by Sea and come into uninhabited places: Especially, all those that have any thing to do with New Plantations, dedicated to the blessed Plantation of Virginia. SECOND EDITION, 1655. Small 8vo, approximately 150 x 85 mm, 5½ x 3½ inches, woodcut frontispiece, 22 woodcut text illustrations of varying sizes, decorated initials, pages: [16], 1-285, some misnumbering but catch words correct, lacks last blank endpaper which is in the collation, ends on T7, full calf, gilt decoration to spine, gilt rules to edges of covers, new endpapers. Gilt title rubbed away, binding slightly rubbed and scuffed, ink stain to lower cover, lower half of spine has hairline crack to surface, tiny repair to corner tips of frontispiece and title page, hardly noticeable, last 3 leaves have a little worming to lower margins, neatly repaired, affecting letters of 3 words on last lines, all inked in, 3 tiny edge tears, nowhere near text, some pale staining and age-browning throughout, mostly to margins, slightly dusty on blank side of frontispiece, on corners of last 4 pages and on verso of last page, 3 lower corner tips neatly repaired, a few other tiny repairs to margins, no loss to text, a good copy.
