Illustrated with a full color frontispiece and 3 black and white plates. Hinges starting to crack, ends lightly worn. General tone with lightly soiled endpages. The dust jacket is missing a large portion from spine and back panel. The front panel is heavily creased. A clear, removable, protective cover has a computer generated title adhered to it. From the "Series for Young People" first published with this cover in 1918.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
