The book contains six complete menus for special celebrations -- from a cocktail party to a buffet dinner. The menus were taken from Julia's televised cooking shows. The book is handsomely filled with color photographs of both Julia and her recipes. Julia introduces a faster way of creating puff pastry (plus a few divine recipes for filling it, or deliciously sinful recipes, depending on your perspective).
