This is a complete 5-volume set of art history books from Germany (the volumes are written entirely in German) - "Kunstgeschichte in Bildern" (Art History in Pictures) published in 1900 by E.A. Seemann in Leipzig and Berlin. "The systematic presentation of the development of fine art from classical antiquity to the end of the 18th century." Each volume is profusely illustrated. Condition:
The set is in overall very good condition with only some wear to the corners of volumes I and II. Light soiling to a few of the front covers, and the bottom edge of volume II has a couple light stain spots. All volumes are tightly bound with no loose pages. The front end paper of volumes I and III have a couple verticle creases. The text pages of all volumes are in terrific condition with no notable condition flaws found. Overall a very good condition set.
