Embossed brown cloth with gilt decoration front cover of Wellington on his horse, gilt decorated spine. 256 pages, each printed page within rule frame border, Frontispiece illustration, portrait illustration title page, and numerous illustrations in text. Copyright held by Nafis & Cornish, 1847. RARE, OCLC locates one copy published 1855 by Sheldon, Lamport & Blakeman, that copy held by Duke Univ. Library. No institutional holdings found for either the 1847 or 1851 editions. Very Good, wear to cloth at spine ends, moderate spotting at end pages, prior owner names dated 1867 and 1919. . Early American Imprint . Embossed Cloth. Very Good. 32mo - over 4" - 5" tall.
