Government Printing Office, Washington, DC, 1917, HC, 4 1/2 X5 1/4" with many photos & drawings; antiquarian book in GOOD+ Condition Whether you're a WWI history buff, interested in details of military life, or perhaps looking for ideas feeding a large crowd (Recipes are designed for feeding 60 active young men; cut them in half for 30.) This could be the ideal book for you. Brown cloth over boards cover has gilt stamped title plainly visible on front & along spine. Lower fr. corner is heavily frayed. Other corners are bumped and frayed. Spine ends curled & somewhat frayed. Inside, pages are tanned as can be expected; a few loose pages but all are in place and very readable, including a pull-out section detailing quantities needed for various meals. Overall, book is rated GOOD+.
