Top edge of the text block a little dusty. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has heavy wear to the spine ends, less wear to corners. Spine has some moisture staining. Soil and foxing to the white panels. Price clipped. A critique of the Communism by a former party member. The author was an influential leader of the Yugoslav Communist Party who came to attack the Communist system and was sentenced to hard labout in Mitrovica prison as a result. .

Sinopsis

This classic by an associate of Yugoslavia's Tito created a sensation when it was published in 1957 because it was the first time that a ranking Communist had publicly analyzed his disillusionment with the system.
