An exceptional copy of this collection of epigrams by Oscar Wilde, in the very scarce dust wrapper, which features beautiful hand embroidery to the rear wrap. First published in a small run of fifty copies in 1895, this work is a collection of epigrams by Wilde, selected from his previous works.This later 1910 edition retains the very scarce publisher's original dust wrapper, which features a hand embroidered spray of white flowers, tied with a golden bow. A stitched wire border surrounds the embroidery.With a small mounted illustration to the head of the first leaf, and the tail of the final leaf, and with both an engraved and letter-press title page.Letter-press title page unopened to head. In the publisher's original paper covered boards, with dust wrapper. Lacking back strip, with boards exceptionally bright.
