Beautiful reprint of this 19th-century work about French wine, this is the "Luxe" edition, limited to 624 copies hand-numbered from 101-724 and signed by the editor, this being number 641, the text is in the original French, large format, brown leather binding with bright gold and blind-stamped titles and gold spine decoration, all edges gilt, marbled end-papers, many wonderful illustrations throughout, including a color map, book is in excellent condition with no remarkable flaws and is housed in the original marbled slipcase which has a tiny amount of rubbing at the corners as its only flaw, this volume is divided into four parts: Premiere Partie: Generalites, Culture, Vendanges, Classification, Chateaux Vinicoles, Crus Classes (154 pages).
