I enjoyed that each chapter was set up with an introduction by Mimi Sheraton, followed with writing by Alan King and finally recipes that were mentioned in the chapter. In many ways, it gave insights into Alan King that are probably not found in his comedy books or performances. It was an enjoyable read and now I have the recipe for Frank Sinatra's pasta sauce with improvements by the authors. Who could ask for anything more?
