Unused, pages uncut, in orignal glassine wrapper all in as new condition housed in publisher's gift box, white paper with satin finish over cardboard, edged in gilt, top cover decorated with elements of Richardson's cover design, stated "Presenation Edition" An exemplar of the "gift book" at the commercial maturity of the decorative cover in American bindings. THE collector's copy.
