The author toured all of the main wine producing districts, inspecting vineyards and wineries and distilleries, took part in tastings and talk to vignerons, Vintners and distillers. This book contains a result of his investigations and of additional research he has done on Australian wines since his return to England. Australians are should be delighted with his conclusions. He finds that they understand the art of winemaking, that their methods are as sound and as meticulous as those used in any of the great wine producing countries, and that their industry is backed by scientific research that in some respects has taken world leadership. . .
