This is the 1937 "new, revised, enlarged edition" of the 1934 original. It has 96 pages of detailed medical explanations of sexual organs and practices, with black and white medical diagrams/illustrations. This copy is in good + condition with some darkening of pages; original pebbled paper cover in blue is in good condition with minimal wear and bumping. This is a hardbound copy of one of the seminal books in polymer science and technology. It is the 1947 publication, presumed first edition, and is ex-library, with stamp and written cataloging on the front flyleaves and a pocket/card on the back flyleaf. 219 pages with tables and index. Cover is sunned and has a stain at upper center; spine has sunning and wear, particularly at the top as shown; pages may be slightly browned; and slight separation from front spine, also shown. Good clean interior with no markings.

This is a very lovely small book of poetry by Dante Gabriel Rossetti with illustrations by Paul Woodroffe. It was published by David McKay, Philadelphia, and dates to circa 1916. This appears to be a special binding, more luxurious than the softcover binding that McKay published, because this one has covers of thick rose-colored suede leather with the title and author impressed deeply into the suede on the front cover and spine. The front and back have double-page illustrations by Paul Woodroffe, as shown, and the title page has a lovely design as well as a facing illustration; there are 3 other illustrations among the 27 pages. The illustrations are in the Arts & Crafts or Art Nouveau style. The page edges are gilt, as shown, and there is a pink ribbon bookmark sewn in.
