Books in excellent condition, helped by presence of original cloth dust covers with gilt typeface on spines. Cloth boards and dust covers have retained original deep red coloring; the gilt on spines and covers of books are brilliant, a sight to behold. The gilt on top edges has also remained vibrant. Hinges and bindings are very sound and straight. Outside of a small, pencilled name on flyleaf of Vol. I, the pages are entirely unmarked, and entirely free of foxing as well.

Very good condition in burgundy cloth lettered and extensively decorated in gilt, top edges gilt, 8.25" tall. Very subtle fading to spines, light edgewear, good hinges, firm text blocks, very clean pages with no names or other markings. Very good quality tissue protected plates showing Michaelangelo's works throughout.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
