Bot jackets show some wear and fading to the edges and spines, along with some soiling. Several small chips and tears. Books themselves are only lightly shelf worn. Interiors are clean and free of stray markings. Folding plates present and intact. Overall, a very good set.

Cambridge: Published for the Hakluyt Society by CUP, 1966. Hardcover. xvii, 270, xv, 273-446p., plates on inserted coated stock, maps and lengthy folded lists of encountered islands as called for, hardbound in the Hakluyt design, fine bright copies in their plain printed dust jackets. Djs are in general good shape, both have some tiny punctures and toned spine panels (v.1 has a quarter-inch chip at the head), each volume with crimping to top and tail rims else entirely sound, clean and unmarked.
