Beautifully illustrated in text with 39 b/w illustrations. Pages clean, v/good condition. Blue marbled endpapers and foredges. Previous owner's name at top of page after front endpapers. Really nice copy. Brown leather with gilt border and embossed glt design on upper cover. Spine has gilt decoration and bands and a black label and gilt title. Head of spine and center have worn spots. Spine edges worn at head and tail on upper side. Board edges and corners lightly worn. VG. Sixth Edition. Hard Cover.

Brown cloth with gilt lettering to fr. and sp. plus gilt coat of arms to fr., clean, extremities all rubbed to varying extents.All edges gilt. Etched f/piece + 56, 9 further etched plates ex-pagination, numerous text vignettes; main problem is heavy tanning to recto (but not image) of f/piece and last page, but this seems to be common to all copies, t.p. also largely, but lightly, tanned, tanning spots to most plates, gutter incipiently opening after f/piece and others tender throughout although text-block basically secure. A bright and attractive copy of this fairly uncommon folio though needs a little discreet attention to gutters. 25.5 cm x 35.5 cm
