Corners bumped and leather worn off three, bottom of spine chipped, splitting of leather along hinges and wear to leather over three of the five stitching bands. Red spine label with gilt lettering cracked but legible.Title page, dedication to King George, and ffe missing. First page of preface almost entirely gone, 2-4 pages of preface plus first page of text missing approx. bottom third, 2-3 pages of text missing large corner (including text). Else pages browned, foxed, and worn, but still very legible. Binding tight. Edition verified by comparing with a complete copy. Written Originally in Low-Dutch by William Sewell, and Translated by Himself into English. Now Revised and Published With Four Amendments. Probably edited by Joseph Besse. Thin brown paper used as end papers, original front free end paper badly chipped and detached and laid in. Title page chipped, partially repaired, wrinkled, owner name, large tear with browning from old tape, library stamp. Library stamp on a few other pages, pages moderately to heavily browned with light foxing, last few pages lightly chipped around edges. Excellent candidate for rebinding. Written Originally in Low-Dutch by William Sewel, and Translated by Himself into English. Now Revised and Published With Four Amendments. Probably edited by Joseph Besse.
