Bound in blue cloth, which appears to be water damaged on the front panel, and is rubbed at the top and bottom of the spine, trace of foxing to the front and top edges of the text block, foxing to the false free end page and the half title page, with only very mild foxing throughout the book. There is no indication that I can find of whether the book is a first Australian or not. There is a gift annotation dated July 1944 on the first page. The edges of the pages are quite darkened with age, and the top of the front-end has a small split.
