Simpkin, Marshall, Lodon, 1847. A few woodcuts in the text. Two volumes 8vo (7 x 4 1/2 inches), pages: 149 & 130 (1, advertisement), original green blindstamped fine ribbed cloth; some marking, headbands worn, one backstrip a little chipped. Overall however very good. Uncommon.

Ex Ipswich Museum Library with their stamp on half-title and title, not elsewhere. One plate almost detached and with a little light chipping on fore-margin.

Colchester: Harley Books, 1985. Illustrations. 4to (10 1/4 x 8 1/4 inche), original cloth. Some light rippling of the text else excellent in very good dust jacket which has a pink tinge to the fore-edges (effects of sunlight?). Corrigenda loosely inserted.
