This is the user instruction pamphlet which was included with the red plastic Texas Instruments E.T. battery-operated electronic pocket calculator (not available). Pamphlet is 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" folded up with 12 pages. Unfolded dimensions are 15" long x 2 1/2" wide. E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial was a 1982 American science fiction film produced & directed by Steven Spielberg for Universal Studios. In 1994, the film was added to the U.S. National Film Registry of the Library of Congress & deemed as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." Of interest to collectors of film/movie memorabilia/souvenirs and to those interested in instruction manuals and/or the history of 1980s pocket calculators.

"The Equalizer" was an American spy thriller TV series airing from 1985-1989, created by Michael Sloan & Richard Lindheim, starring Edward Woodward in the title role. Music by Stewart Copeland & performed by Jeff Seitz.
Includes two episodes from Season 2 as follows:
1) Episode #13 - "Beyond Control" - Air Date: January 14, 1987 - in this episode, Control, played by Robert Lansing, turns to the Equalizer for help. Directed by Alan Metzger;
2) Episode #20 - "First Light" - Air Date: May 13, 1987 - in this episode, a former POW is being terrorized for no apparent reason. Directed by Richard Compton. Rare TV appearance by stage actor Quentin Crisp.

Reading copy. DJ not available. Title page notes that this "edition is produced in full compliance with all War Production Board conservation orders" & after 80 years this copy is showing its physical age. Translated into English from the German manuscript by Claire Trask. Original German Title: Die Tochter [The Daughter]. The English title may be an allusion to Hamlet, Act 2, Scene 2. A novel by the German Jewish author Bruno Frank (1878-1945). A story of Jewish-Gentile interactions in the shadow of European persecution of Jews from the early 20th century & during WW II & reflects the author's eclectic viewpoint.

Published in 1971 in "Turtle: A New Jewish Arts Magazine", London. Approximately 40 romantic and/or philosophical poems in a 30 page booklet dedicated to "Shalva". Per the author: "These poems are written in the form of a poetic story. They are the author's account of how he marshaled the spiritual treasures of his faith in order to keep alive his love for a religious Jewish girl."

Masha Benya (Benyakonsky, Beniakonskyte), (1908-2007), was born in Lithuania, studied & performed in Germany in the 1930s until emigrating to the U.S. after Kristallnacht in 1938. She was recognized as a major figure in the "dynamic postwar Yiddish music milieu" & was a long time member & Governing Board member of the American Society for Jewish Music.
The 19 songs on this tape are a medley of classical western music, Yiddish folk songs & Hebrew songs.
