Marbled endpapers, hand-tinted frontis engravings, and B&W plates in each volume. Presenting as a very attractive set overall, with light to moderate wear. Some volumes have exposed corners, darkening to backstrip, and/or light dampstaining. Six of the volumes have loss to the top of the spine to a depth not greater than 1/2", and one volume has a small abrasion to the front board.
