This novel won '1975 Award for Australian Literature' and made into MOVIE starring Graham Kennedy, John Jarrat, John Hargreaves, Bryan Brown & Graeme Blundell. The softcover (paperback) features sixteen b&w photographic stills from the movie. The Odd Angry Shot is a tough, biting comedy about a group of Australian SAS soldiers on a tour of duty in the Vietnam War of the 1960s.

As far back as 1840, the most British form of entertaintment, the Music Hall, began in Pimlico. It took until the turn of the twentieth century before gramophone records and cylinders by Music Hall stars were offered for sale, costing around AUD 75cents (37½p) each. Such items are now highly-treasured collectibles (despite their scratchy, clicking distortions). This book lists the artists alphabetically, with dates (exact & conjectured), location, accompaniment, make and catalogue number. Typography throughout this book appears as a sans serif typewriter face. Estimated number of entries = 10,000.
