Originating in the 1930's, United Kingdom, The Lambreth method is a classic cake design that uses a royal icing over-piping technique creating intricate depth by using lots of layers of icing. It's a slow, precise and highly detailed process ending in a work of art. A modern example would be Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding cake. .

Ryerson and Clements wrote two of the earliest novels featuring teenage girlhood, This Awful Age and Mild Oats. Both adapted to first plays and then film.
