Flexible cover of full red sheepskin with author's initials blocked in gold to front, and title along spine, top edge gilt, cream end papers, rubricated title page, 190pp. CONDITION: Very Good Plus (or better, really.) One bumped corner to front. A few slight scratch marks to covers, which are generally superficial. Else, clean and bright, no signs of foxing. One quarter-inch stain on outside bottom edge of text block. Board edges and corners are pristine.**This is the very famous first of two biblio-mysteries by Morley featuring Roger Mifflin, first published 1917. Mifflin's traveling book store, "Parnassus" is modeled on a brightly painted, horse-drawn tinker's wagon with living… Leer más
