London: Lawrence and Bullen, 1896. First edition. Cloth. Very Good. 10" by 6.5". A. D. McCormick. It dispelled many popular beliefs concerning the customs and lineage of the Kafirs. Though Robertson's style and perspective is now somewhat outdated, this volume is still valuable as one of the few descriptions of the Kafirs' way of life prior to their mass conversion by Amir Abdur Rahman Khan of Afghanistan.
