The top and front edges of the text block show traces of foxing, as do the last 2 pages of the book and the half title page. Otherwise a very clean copy. The book is a curious collection of what today would be considered old-fashioned party foods, economy foods, and restaurant dishes. The measurements for the ingredients are approximate in the main, but the description of the preparation and assembly of the dishes is very good. Alternatives are sometimes given if one ingredient is missing, and there is a quite chatty feel to the book. A scan can be provided to help assess condition.
