Near Fine. 4 7/8 x 7 1/4 inches. 1 ffep + title page + A3 - A4 + b (8 page quire) + B - R (8 leaf quires) + S (4 page quire) + 1 rfep. Complete including first and last blanks. Library stamp (Episcopal Theological School Cambridge, Mass.) to title. A few light stains, but pages otherwise bright and clean. Bound in beautiful modern brown calf with blindrolled border and gilt corner accents to both boards and new endpapers. Spine with four raised bands creating five compartments, each band set with gilt band above and below and red spine label with gilt "Prot:Dialog." An even scarcer variant of a scarce work. ESTCR232105, see ESTCR11422. A very scarce Anglican defense against Roman Catholic criticisms.
