Don Quixote has been translated into English by Watts. "A New Edition with Notes, Original and Selected." The "Life of Cervantes" volume has a frontispiece portrait of Cervantes with facsimile handwriting. This set has been beautifully custom bound by "MacDonald - New York" (presumably James MacDonald, a Scottish bookbinder who came to the United States in 1873 and established his own business in New York in 1880). Published shortly after Dickens' death in 1870, this is the first of his biographies by a woman, and one of the earliest of all.
