Duodecimo. 5 x 7.75 in. 312 pp. Very good in the original ornamental brown cloth boards, with only minor shelf wear along the bottom and top corners, and chipping along the top of the spine. The binding is firm and the hinges are fully intact. There is light and periodic foxing throughout, as is typical of books of this era. Inscribed on the front free endpaper to fellow transcendentalist, "Sarah Clarke, from her friend, R. W. Emerson, Aug. 1856.

France: Timeless, 2014. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Fine. Large quarto. 10.5 x 13 in. Unpaginated. This set comprises the compiled "Collector's Edition," which includes two hardbound photographic collections, each of which is in fine condition, and a slim cloth-bound portfolio that contains three 10 x 13 in. black & white prints, also in fine condition. The collection is housed by a charcoal-hued cloth-bound slip case that also appears in fine condition. The First Edition, simply entitled "Photography," was published in November 2014 in an edition of 500 unnumbered copies and contains black-and-white photographs. The Special Edition is a slimmer collection of color photographs also published in 2014, but limited to only 100 copies. Octavo. 5.5 x 8.25 in. 72 pp. Very good in original patterned boards and brown cloth binding with clean pages free of foxing or other marks. The original acetate cover is intact and has a tear on the lower front edge. A prior owner decided to tape the acetate to the interior boards, which left faint tape markings on each interior cover and their respective endpapers. Signed by Beckett in blue ink opposite the copyright page, just below a notation indicating that this copy is from a "Specially Bound, Limited Edition of 250 Numbered copies, of which this is copy number 37.

Octavo. 5.25 x 8 in. 277 pp. Very good in original black cloth boards, with a firm binding that has a barely-visible lean and a small scratch located on the spine, just across the bottom of the publisher's name. The pages are bright, clean, and free of foxing or other marks. Stated "FIRST EDITION" copy with no further mention of printing dates on the copyright page. The back board is clean and lacks the blind-stamp typical of the book club editions and later printings. A beautiful copy kept in great condition, even without a dust jacket.

Washington City: Davis and Force, 1820. Revised Edition. Hardcover. Good. Octodecimo. 4 x 6.5 in. x, 220 pp. Good in a rebound leather binding and marbled boards that have rubbing throughout, wear to the corners and edges, and a split formed along the lower front hinge. The interior has foxing throughout, as is often found in books of this age, and a water stain that appears in the preface and first 25 pages.The binding itself is firm and the pages are otherwise in decent shape. A prior owner's book plate appears on the front interior board. An early edition published within Jefferson's lifetime and featuring his latest revisions and additions, including the then-newly revised rules and orders of the Senate and House of Representatives. Jefferson's first edition in 1801 was the first American text on parliamentary procedures.

London: Thomas Tegg, 1809. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. Octodecimo. 4 x 6.25 in. 104 pp. Fine in the original red morocco with pristine gilt titling and decor. The binding and boards are firm and in terrific shape. The pages are clean and free of foxing, except for a single pencil notation on the front free endpaper. This copy contains a fold-out frontis piece and 27 hand-colored plates by Rowlandson. This copy is housed in a red cloth fall-down-back box with a leather spine. A collection of humorous letters coupled with color plates.

The pages have overall age-related toning but remain clean. The illustrations are bright and all of the game pages remain intact. This copy has green borders on the front cover and the additional comic on the back cover, and contains the censored "Mickey Mouse Song" lyrics as described by Overstreet.

Good in the original black boards with bright gilt titling and decor on the front cover, while the title and design from the spine have rubbed off. The binding has a lean and has been well read. The pages have occasional but limited foxing and a prior owner's name appears on the front free endpaper in pencil. A first edition of Hemingway's second published collection of stories.

Otherwise, the jacket is in pristine condition. The front hinge opens easily but overall the binding is firm and without any of the typical leaning. The $15.00 price remains intact on the front flap, as does the 0273 publication code. A beautiful and unfaded copy of Pynchon's almost-Pulitzer winning masterpiece.
