Lizars, Edinburgh, 1842, pp. xii, 264 with 25 lithographs, some tinted or with a touch of colour. Strongly rebound in modern cloth. A good, sound copy.

Dorchester,Sime & Co,1890, pages run from 163 to 216,but complete in itself. With 5 plates each with a descriptive leaf of text. Ex-library in rather rubbed leather-backed boards,but still a tight,sound copy. There are several small library stamps, else contents good. Scarce.

London, Imperial Bureau of Entomology, 1922, pp.ix,188 with 5 plates. An ex-library copy strongly bound in cloth. A little dusty and with a few unobtrusive stamps,but a good,sound copy.

Japan,Hoikusha Publishing,1970, two volumes,pp.224,233,profusely illustrated. Volume 1 illustrates 1270 specimens and volume 2 illustrates 1457 specimens. Vol 1 is a reprint of the revised edition of 1965 and vol 2 is a reprint of the revised edition of 1968. Dublin,Hodges Figgis,1911, offprint from the proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, volume 29, comprising pages 38 to 64 with 3 plates. An ex-library copy in cloth and marbled boards with the original wrappers bound in. Number at foot of spine and bookplate inside,but a very good,clean copy.

London,Macmillan,1890-91, two volumes bound in one,pp. vi,(2),lxxvii,133,(3),(4),211. Neat old library binding of half cloth with marbled paper sides.Trace of numbers at foot of spine,but a nice,clean copy. Priced inexpensively as it is bound without the coloured illustrations.
